The devil is a real being. He is a personage who fell from glory, before this world was framed. Recount the prophetic words of Isaiah,
"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." (Isaiah 14:12-15)
Because the Devil sought to overthrow God, he was cast out and forbidden a mortal experience; like the one we are currently having. Because of his unsuccess he slowly drew others with him, we read,
"And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth..."
(Revelation 12:4,9; and Jude 1:6)
In the New Testament we read instances in which Christ or his disciples cast out demons from people. (Matthew 4:10; Matthew 8:16, 28-34; Matthew 9:32-33; Matthew 10:1-8; Matthew 12:22-30; Matthew 17:14-21.)
These are just a few instances just in the Gospel of Matthew. There are numerous others accounting the fact that there exists a Devil, who is in opposition to the truth. And yes he does have followers. Even on this earth people who reject God and fight against truth are of themselves devils, for they subject themselves unto his power. Recall that the Lord instructed,
"No man can SERVE TWO MASTERS: for he will HATE the one, and LOVE the other; or else he will HOLD to the one, and DESPISE the other. Ye CANNOT serve GOD and MAMMON." (Matthew 6:24)

Devils are definitely real according to the Bible. Below are just a few of the verses to confirm this:
Matt 4:24, Matt 8:16, Matt 8:31 and James 2:19
James 2:19 also emphasizes that even the devils believe that there is one God. This is good to help us realize that belief alone will not get us into heaven.

The bible shows that God has created spirit persons, angels. (Job 38:7;Job 1:6)
Some of these angels chose to turn against the Creator, doing bad. So they became known as 'demons' or 'fallen angels'. (Genesis 6:2)
The first angel to go against God came to be known as Satan the Devil. Satan meaning 'opposer'. That is, he went opposite or against God and all that was true and good. Devil meaning 'Slanderer'. That is someone who maliciously lies to damage a persons reputation.
These two acts this angel did when he, in the garden of Eden, told the first woman Eve that "You positively will not die", thereby saying the opposite to what God had said. And in effect calling God a liar.
He also said that "God knows...". Thereby implying that God was hiding his true motives and so, he slandered God. (Genesis 3:1-5;Revelation 12:9;John 8:44)
These evil spiritpersons will one day be destroyed. (Revelation 20:10;Jude vers 6)

Jesus certainly taught us so.
The Gospels speak of both demons and Satan as being able to possess an individual. An example of an evil spirit taking possession is the case of the woman who had a spirit of infirmity' for eighteen years, which was attributed to her being 'bound' by Satan (Lk 13:11ff.) Here, the condition of the woman is regarded as being caused by demon possession, with Satan as the chief of evil spirits. It is most often portrayed in the Gospels that when a demon takes possession of an individual, it is usually by force and the demonized are not regarded as willful sinners or as excessively wicked people.
So did St. Peter: "Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you." (1Pet.5:8-10).

According to a book of fantasy yes fantasy creatures exist!
Now if you want to live in the real world these fantasy creatures do not exist! However neither does the X men, Superman, Batman, or any other fictional super hero!
Turn off the tv and join us in the real world!

Yes, they are. And, they do mess with us. Here's just one example.
Matthew 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
Peace.

“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” - John 6:40 KJV It was not sufficient to see him and hear him, but it was necessary, also, to believe on him. Many of the Jews had seen him, but few believed on him. Jesus had said in the previous verse that all that the Father had given him should be saved. But he never left a doctrine so that men must misunderstand it. Lest it should be supposed that if a man was given to him this was all that was needful, and lest anyone should say, "If I am to be saved I shall be, and my efforts will be useless," he states here that it is necessary that a man should believe on him. This would be the evidence that he was given to God, and this would be evidence conclusive that he would be saved. If this explanation of the Saviour had always been attended to, the doctrine of election would not have been abused as it has been. Sinners would not sit down in unconcern, saying that if they are given to Christ all will be well. They would have arisen like the prodigal, and would have gone to God; and, having believed on the Saviour, they would then have had evidence that they were given to him-the evidence resulting from an humble, penitent, believing heart-and then they might rejoice in the assurance that Jesus would lose none that were given to him, but would raise it up at the last day. All the doctrines of Jesus, as he preached them, are safe, and pure, and consistent; as men preach them, they are, unhappily, often inconsistent and open to objection, and are either fitted to produce despair on the one hand, or presumptuous self-confidence on the ether. If you try to analyze or understand the verse, people go in heaven, not by an accident but because they BELIEVE on the Son of God “Jesus Christ” Try to read this verse: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” - John 14:6 KJV ------------ Good day my dear sister dawn…

Jesus seened to think that they are real.
Matthew 17:18
And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was cured instantly.
Luke 4:35
But Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent (muzzled, gagged), and come out of him! And when the demon had thrown the man down in their midst, he came out of him without injuring him in any possible way.
Luke 8:29
For Jesus was already commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For many times it had snatched and held him; he was kept under guard and bound with chains and fetters, but he would break the bonds and be driven by the demon into the wilderness (desert).
Luke 9:42
And even while he was coming, the demon threw him down and [completely] convulsed him. But Jesus censured and severely rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the child and restored him to his father.

Sure they are. Or should I say they were at the time when the Bible was first written.
But, after Jesus returned to Heaven, don't you think that there was a shake up in the organization. The Bible alluded to "Jesus defeated Satan". What does that mean to you?
Well, maybe you don't care what I think, but here it is:
Demons and devils (as you put it) are now limited strictly to their sales pitch. (probably limited to mental telepathy with you, if you initiate the conversation.
To be fair, and to assure "free will", God is also limited to his sales pitch (same rules, mental telepathy, if you initiate the conversation.)
When I say limited, I mean neither can hurt you physically. I need not prove that, your life experiences proves that.
Now, for miracles:
In such case, I would return to Big H and watch over and guide them from my laboratory. When they ask me (pray) for advice, I will advise them by mental telepathy. When they ask (pray) for my help, I will help them by telekinesis. However, I will use telekinesis only if it would result in harmony.
(Later in history, when earthlings prayed to God, and their prayers were answered, they would refer to God’s mental telepathy as “the word of God”. They would refer to God’s telekinesis as “miracles”.)
