With fat people getting even fatter and more discrimination, fatism should be included, don't you think?

For a word to get into a dictionary, it has to be in use. I haven't heard of this word, but if you & your friends start using it & write to all the newspapers complaining about the 'rise of fatism' then you may just be able to start a new word.

Interestingly enough, 'Check Spelling' seems to like it. :-)
Good luck!

I think a better term would be weightist (a la racist) or, for specifically against overweight people, anti-obesic (a la anti-semitic). Like the other guy said, words won't get into the dictionary without popular use. Of course you could get a hit song made about the term like Beyonce did with bootylicious, that might work too.

Fatalism is there though - that's a fatter word than fatism.

Fatness is a choice. Being white, black, handicapped, whatever, is not.

All my friends who decided to spend sometime in the USA had put up at least 15 kilos by the time they came back. Why is it?

There are thousands of people starving to death in Africa, Asia, Latin America. Fat people had better to change their habits as soon as possible, instead of keeping victimizing themselves.
