My friends and I were discussing different dating scenarios and this was the one we had the most disagreement over. So if you met someone who had been in prison, did their time, and was now living a normal life and working hard would you date them or not?

Hmm we didn't really discuss why someone the person had been in prison since it was all hypothetical. But I suppose just go with the different scenarios that you could go to prison for.
Burglary
Drugs
Violence
White collar crimes
etc.

well my answer to that is yes, as I have actually been talking to some guy in prison who turns out to be really sweet, and if he gets out and I am not married or dating anyone I would date him and possibly marry him

I am married to an ex-felon. So yea, just because they were in prison doesnt mean they are all bad... some people get sent off to prison for things they didnt even do

If I liked him and he was being a responsible adult, why not? I know somebody who has been married to an ex-felon for 12 years now....
Who are we to judge any way? If he's working hard and is living an honest life, why judge?

yes..everyone makes mistakes as long as it wasnt a violent crime like assault or murder or harming someone else at all..

what did he do? if he raped or abused people or auto theft (i just bought a new car) no, otherwise if it was over a parking ticket sure!!!!!

it would depend on what their crime was..i would never date a convicted rapist, pedofile or murderer for example
