It is so annoying! This message comes up at least a couple times an hour. How can I get it to stop?

tried the misconfig thing and a window pops up and says "windows cannot find 'misconfig' ...

Likely, you have some program running in the background that shouldn't be and it uses Flash to run. Start-->Run and type msconfig and hit Enter. Go to the Startup tab. What's there that shouldn't be? Try unchecking it and restarting.
