I need a recipe for a dip I can serve with veggies or chips.

This stuff is easy to make, but wickedly good.
"Nacho" Average Chip Dip
Spread a thick layer of bean dip in the bottom of a pretty glass casserole dish.
Brown and drain a pound of ground beef, then season to taste with taco seasoning mix. Spread on top the bean dip layer.
Add a layer of each of the following in order:
Premade guacamole
Shredded sharp Cheddar or "taco blend" cheese
Chopped, well-drained tomatoes or salsa
Sour cream
A few chopped green onions
Serve with corn chips or any other favorite chip.

Recipe on Lipton Onion Soup box
Helluva Good dips/ premade
Ranch+Sour Cream
And for tortilla chips: Newman's Own Salsa+Sour Cream

Get a 16 oz carton of sour cream and add Ranch Dip Mix (you can find this in your salad dressing aisle in the grocery store). Really easy, and tastes great with both veggie and chips!

For tortillas chips: a container of sour cream and mix in a package of taco seasoning mix. It's pretty good.
For veggies, I'd go with a container of Maries or T. Marzettis veggie dip or Ranch dip.

1 pint of sour cream and a package of ranch dressing mix. That is the EASIEST. My favorite is Beau Monde dip for veggies:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise (or 2 cups sour cream)
1 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning
1 tsp. dried dill weed
1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
1 Tbsp. dried parsley
Mix well, refrigerate for at least a couple of hours. YUMMY

Cream Cheese with minced clams and a touch of garlic powder. Mush it up. Add just a little of the liquid, not all of it until it softens to the consistency you like. It is fast, simple, and everyone love it.
