Don't mess with your hair.. shave the purple part off.. and then when it grows back again.. do whatever you want with it.. but better natural for a healthier look

Its very hard to go from a dark colour to a lighter one. You can always go darker shades easily enough but not the other way round i'm afraid. In order to go more than a shade or two lighter your best bet would be bleach depending on what type of dye you have on your hair just now. If its a veggie dye such as Manic Panic or Special Effects the following link might help as there is a section on removing veggie dyes from your hair.

Too bad. You colored it purple which is a very difficult color to get out. I'm not even sure if hydrogen peroxide takes color out of hair the way you want. You have to bleach and dye and other stuff. Go to a pro to have it done.

No you need to strip the hair down to white using high lift peroxide mixed with developer. If you simply use peroxide your hair will just turn varying shades of pink. This by the way is so going to ruin your hair. You might as well dye is yellow because it is going to look and feel like straw.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. You won't end up with blonde hair. I used peroxide on my naturally dark brown hair, and not only did it ruin the texture of my hair, but it went to a reddish-orange color. Since your hair is purple, it'll probably end up some weird light pinkish red color.

So, I wouldn't advise it.

Possibly, but I wouldn't do it just because hydrogen peroxide is so brutal to your hair! You should try some blonde permanent hair dye first before you use hydrogen peroxide.

be careful or its gonna come out some freaky color. If your hair is dyed now, i would get some color strip or color remover and remove the purple then apply blonde dye. But, put as little chemicals as possible on your hair so it will continue to be healthy. goodluck.
