3 ideas:
1. Claim to be given a vision from a new god that Over sees what the christan god does. The supreme god. who is completely moral ... He requires christains to see the truth - that the god they worship is just an old sun god playing tricks on them all.
2. Grow a beard, wear only robes, and claim to understand that living a simple life is the only way to heaven - and you want to show others how rewarding it is.
3. Declare demons are among us and you can see them, name small local officals and large untouchable officials ... cause them circumstancial harm...state gods doing it to them.
=================
Brainwash - Starve , ( call it fasting) Dehydrate ( call it cleaning the soul) sleep deprive ( call it spirtiaul fortitude is determined by how often /long you can put off the demands of the flesh )
Play continous repeative music with the "G" note in percussion instruments.... make irregualr annoucemnets. Between 1 minute and 1 hour apart.. stating you are the only one who can see the truth...
do a bit of research into Neuro Linquistics and write some brainwashing material of your own.

Every cult can be defined as a group having all of the following five characteristics:
1. It uses psychological coercion to recruit, indoctrinate and retain its members
2. It forms an elitist totalitarian society.
3. Its founder leader is self-appointed, dogmatic, messianic, not accountable and has charisma.
4. It believes 'the end justifies the means' in order to solicit funds & recruit people.
5. Its wealth does not benefit its members or society.
Are Cults Harmful?
To remain within the strict mental and social confines of a cult for even a short time can have the following disastrous effects:
Loss of choice and free will. Diminished intellectual ability, vocabulary and sense of humour. Reduced use of irony, abstractions and metaphors. Reduced capacity to form flexible and intimate relationships. Poor judgement. Physical deterioration. Malnutrition. Hallucinations, panic, dissociation, guilt, identity diffusion and paranoia.
Mind Control techniques include:
•Hypnosis: Inducing a state of high suggestibility by hypnosis, often thinly disguised as relaxation or meditation.
•Rejection of Old Values: Accelerating acceptance of new life style by constantly denouncing former values and beliefs.
•Uncompromising Rules: Inducing regression and disorientation by soliciting agreement to seemingly simple rules which regulate mealtimes, bathroom breaks and use of medications.
I•solation: Inducing loss of reality by physical separation from family, friends, society and rational references.

How about guys wearing skirts and having to dress like women to appease the Goddess or Leader of the Group? Nothing wrong with wacky as long as it isn't doing anyone any harm!
the first rule of any cult is HARM NO ONE! If you break that rule then it isn't a cult!

The trick is to make it believeble. You have to feel the power of the 'god' you worship. Strangely you can even feel this 'power' worshipping a cartoon character. That just tells you that the 'power' is either coming from within yourself or it is something without a name or religion attached to it. If your cult stands for freedom and bliss I will join too.

well from your q's posted. Obviously you wouldn't be the leader, but rather the God of your cult. And we would all be lucky if you would take a ride on your spaceship.

It should be about the approaching world domination by the Smurf Empire. I have asked a question similar to this in the Polls and Surveys category. Cool!
