The Jews are God's "chosen people," as per Deut. 7:6:

"For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth."

However, not all Jews are STILL God's chosen ones; only those who are part of God's "remnant" are chosen. Throughout the Bible, God reserves a believing remnant in order to preserve them so they may receive the blessings promised to Abraham. Today, God's Jewish remnant is made up of Messianic Jews -- Jews who have accepted Jesus Christ as Messiah. All other Jews are not part of this remnant and will face punishment by God.

A gentile who converts to Judaism cannot be part of the remnant of "chosen people," since he or she does not believe Jesus Christ is Messiah.

Peace.

You misunderstand what that title means "The Chosen People". Through Jewish and Christian history it was thought to mean that they were elite. Yet, the prophets and St. Paul have stated that this is not what was intended by that title. The term means in essence, "a people chosen for a task". It is not an elitist title but a title of service. And both Christian and Jew are considered a people chosen for a task. That task is to teach the world the Good News of God's love for man and His saving help to him. That is all it means. I hope this was helpful. May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.

This is a Proselyte Jew, actually a very interesting situation that many should study. You could contact http://www.jewsforjesus.org/ and get more information of this, I guess.
I not sure what you or I believe matters to God, but, you may want to read Romans 11:25-27. I like to Believe Israel may be God's chosen people, but, the Gentiles are too, that believe Jesus. That just my opinion though, never said I was perfect in what I know. I always say; "It not what we know that saves us....... it Who we know that saves us".

I am Jewish and I also don't believe we are chosen. However, assuming we are, the answer is yes. A convert would now be considered one of the chosen people. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
