does anyone know what would make an 11 week old westie itch?? She was on the Science Diet and we recently changed thinking that could be the problem.. I know westie's are known for skin allergies but she's young and I thought allergies don't show up until older when there no longer immune??? Thanks for any help

it may be fleas, or if she's scratching by her ears it may be ear mites.. either way take her to the vet.... she's probably really uncomfortable and the vet may give you something to stop her itching.

It could be a number of things such as mange, ringworm, allergies. Only a vet can diagnose and treat the problem. Good luck.

Take her to vet and get her checked out--she may need a special diet.
