I started dating very late for a girl in the current generation and have only had one bf so far.

My bf is an acceptably nice guy but we have many differences, the biggest of all with culture and religion.

I'm thinking of leaving the relationship in search of someone better. Should I?

It sounds like your mind is already made up.

One thing to keep in mind though, the "current generation" is not the model to live by. After all, it's the same generation that brought us widespread incidence of broken homes, impoverished single mothers, illegitimate kids, gang violence, so on and so forth. Also, keep in mind that a number of men do take note of the fact that you are leaving this guy on a whim, and that will very likely hurt you later on in life. I and those close to me have seen this too many times.

I'd stay stick with the guy b/c the "exciting" ones are not worth dealing with. But like I said, it looks like your mind is already made up.

Well if religion and culture is a big issue than just let it go! Is not like you're gonna become whatever religion he is right? I mean if you're asking this Q is because you're having too many doubts about the relationship and if you already have them there is no point of being in the relationship. Besides if you don't like him or don't feel comfortable in the relationship then its best to let him know! You're probably young and just because you started dating "late" doesn't mean you have to stay with him forever! I think it would be a lot better to tell him now ! Good luck

It's always hard to leave a relationship especially your first but you have to understand that if you arn't happy with that person then it's time to move on and let yourself and him find that right person out there.

seek all the fun in the world before you get married ,Don't tie yourself up to him before he ties you up. I don't think he is yr match, when you are really in love nothin is boring. if its boring it can't really be love. It'll be more boring after marriage. you go girl!
