Hello,

Recently I have been talking to a guy that I have known from my college (8 months to be exact). I have transferred to another college in the process but we've kept in touch. Over the summer we have talked a great deal and shared personal experiences with relationship issues. I am scare of this new relationship with him because of past hurts. He is very generous to me but I am affraid of it. I told him like a couple of months ago I wanted to be "friends" to see where it goes. He told me this hurt his feeling but he didn't tell me until are argument last night. I found out that he started talking to someone because he thought that I just wanted him as a friend and nothing else. All I wanted was a friendship status first and then possibly step it up to boyfriend/girlfriend status. Can someone give me some advice as to what to do. I care for him a lot and we talked it over but... I believe we were dwelling on the past and it conflicted with are feelings. I don't know. HELP!!!!!
