I agree with Tomoyo K; that is one part of it for sure.
But did you notice that life spans also quickly started becoming shorter immediately after people began being born AFTER the flood?
Before the flood, the water canopy above the earth (mentioned in Genesis 1:6-8) apparently protected even imperfect humans from the radiation that makes us age more quickly than we would were it still in place.
But as Tomoyo K said, the main reason is that today we are so far removed from the perfection Jehovah gave Adam & Eve.

After the great flood, The earth was a very different place, the firmement of water that acted as a second ozone layer was gone, and most of the nutrition had been drowned out of the earth (ex: the plants had WAY more vitamins in them before the flood), so because of the lack of nutrients, God told Noah, u should start eating meat, also, people started living shorter lives, not growing as tall or being as strong as they used to be (that goes for animals too)

The best theory is that when God created man, he had pure blood and a clean , safe environment.
The Bible also points out that people were able to marry their own immediate relatives while having healthy children for hundreds of years.
Eventually, God had to put restriction(laws) on His people about dealing with disease, certain types of food and who they could marry. As you read the books of the law given to the Isrealites, you see how restrictive they had to be in a "corrupted" world.
Today, in a few countries which have cleaned up and have health and safety laws, people are once again living longer and even growing taller.

Man was created originally to live eternally in a perfect state, after Adam sinned, old age, sickness and death entered into the world...
Adam and all those mentioned are still close to perfection so they lived long, it is short though compared to forever.

Woo up there boy, I say woooo up. You are not going to live for another nine minutes if you don't settle yourself down boy. You are asking your question in the wrong arena. Try the anthropology department at your local university. In the meantime have a cup of tea and a chocolate buscuit.

Genetic drift - basically humping yer relatives introduced crap into our genome and as it built up life spans got shorter - if we didnt have medicine there would be a way lot less of us - and no old people
