It makes my jaw hurt. I told my Dentist at my last visit and he didn't really suggest much. He didn't say that there was any damage from it. It just hurts my jaw and keeps my boyfriend awake!
Thanks

Stress can contribute to grinding, but you don't have to have stress to grind. Your best option would be a night guard. You can purchase a 'do it yourself' one from the store, but a custom made one from your dentist is best. They have different types, hard, soft, flexible. Your dentist can tell you which one is best for you. At this point you may not have any damage to your teeth, but you will if you don't do something about it. Grinding can 'flatten' your teeth, wear the enamel down so that the dentin is showing, cause cracks and fractures, not to mention the pain you are experiencing in your jaw. It does not take that long to get used to a night guard and your teeth and well being are worth the effort.

Grinding or clenching at night causes so many dental problems, I know from experience.
A mouth guard made by your dentist will cost you about $300 or better.
Try a mouth guard from Walmart. It is in the toothpaste isle and costs about $20.
It takes some getting used to but after a while you will feel like you can't sleep without it.

My husband said I do it too... any time I am overly tired or stressed.. or we had a fight! other than buying a plastic mouthgaurd, like you said.. there isnt much you can do. "try not to be stressed" is all I can say.. and thats no help. They do have really simple ones though, as far as mouthgaurds go... they are small, fit just on your teeth, and are not visible to anyone. Comfort might have to win out on this one

To have "comfortable and sparkling epidermis like Miley Cyrus", use ALOT of makeup. To have organic captivating and mind-blowing epidermis, you will possibly desire to attempt distinctive products because of fact all of us's epidermis is distinctive. I went to Sephora and talked to between the professionals there and that they helped me decide for a kit referred to as Boscia. i exploit the 4 products each night (it in straightforward terms takes approximately 2 minutes) and at night time, I placed this pattern product gel on my zits if I even have any on the time. They take a whilst to bypass away yet interior the tip, that's very well worth it. attempt going to Spehora or a close-by elegance save (which you would be able to believe) or perhaps call Sephora! wish i ought to help.

This answer probably sounds stupid, but maybe try to de-stress before bed? Take a little while to sit quietly and calmly before going to sleep. Maybe read a relaxing type of book.

Good luck!

If you do not need mouthguard, then consult a psychologist for counseling.
