I think when you die, your spirit lives on. Your body dies and you remain a conciousness. You see your body. You feel surrounded by other people you loved who have died. Your spiritual body rises until you see a bright white light (God/Jesus) who lets you see. feel, hear, smell and taste your lifetime of experiences. Then you cross over into another realm. Heaven.
I also believe there are various levels of heaven depending on the state of your spiritual understanding and knowledge.

Hi, According to Hinduism, after a person dies his soul will go to heaven or hell depending on the way he has lead the life, if he had committed a lot of sin his soul will go to hell, and in hell ,but in reality what God does is he will send the soul to a human or any animal to face a lot of pain in the next life. In the new life, he will face poverty or anything that will make his life horrible.
If has done lot of good things his soul will be sent to the next life where it will enjoy the new life.
But Hell and heaven are temporary stop for soul but ultimate aim for every Hindu is to get his soul liberated from the cycle of Life and death or to liberate his soul so that it does not need to come again on this earth.
Soul cannot suffer pain only body can feel pain.

an angel by the name of israel(has notin to do with the country :P) will come to me,remove my soul from my body, which is a painful process, ask me afew questions then guide me to limbo(what ever limbo might be)where i will await Judgement day...all the while knowing wether i will be going to heaven or hell(some people say the knowledge that ur going to hell is the "punishment of the grave" while others think its actual pain inflicted on u).So if i am going to heaven, the time between death and the day of judgement will defently be peaceful.
i honestly dont have a clue where im going to end up...i pray Allah lets me into heaven but iv sinned quite alot...and iv been negligent of my duties
may Allah forgive me and u...and if ur not a muslim, may He guide u to the right path
peace

I believe that when we die we get a 'review' of our life in which we see what all our actions and words did to/for others. This is in the form of education, not punishment. After we have had a chance to reflect on what we saw and absorb all that we have learned in that lifetime, we are 'sent back' to earth again for another life and more lessons. This goes on until we learn all we need to learn regarding the nature of Diety, love, kindness, generousity, justice, etc. When we have fully learned everything we are given an 'option' of either returning to earth as an enlightened being (either with or without a physical form) or going to another civilization, or becoming a free-roaming spirit that does what good they see as fit anywhere they wish. i do not believe in heaven or hell, i do believe there is a place of rest that many call 'The Summerland' there we meet again with those souls we have known in previous lives (parents, partners, friends, even 'enemies').

I have confidence that when I leave this world of time, I will be with God for eternity. This is because He has made me His child through Jesus Christ's giving me salvation from all that would keep me from being with God.
I don't know all that much about what life is going to be then. I know that I will have a new body which is immortal and imperishable, that I will see God face to face and enjoy all His love for me and I will be in the company of all those who have put their trust in God as He has revealed Himself.
What will I do? My theory is that I can spend eternity enjoying all the renewed heavens which He creates. Like a tourist with no travel time, going throughout the universe praising God (as in : "Wow, God that is fantastic!). I and all those with me will be ourselves, but without any inclination to sin( sin = be selfish, unloving, etc).
I'm looking forward to it.

It's not a belief, I know that I'll be shoved into the fire box and incenerated. Next I'll be taken to Bushnell and burried. The end.
What will I do in the afterlife ? ans. Become part of the soil.

I do not KNOW. What I do KNOW is that regardless of the outcome after my physical death, I am compelled by common-sense and reason to act in a loving and compassionate manner toward my fellow humans and other living things. If anyone does that; then they can expect the best outcome no matter what.

I believe in Heaven but I think Hell is earth...when you die if you have lived a life that you deserve to go to heaven then you go to Heaven. If you lived a life unworthy of Heaven you are reincarnated back to earth to try it again.

the after life is another experience such as living but in another world, a world that isn't physical, though your senses, all depend of the results of your experiences with your own senses and the positive achievements of your life experiences in this material World, is what you will be able to see and perceive, though there is nothing you can do about it, other than wait to become and into the material world?, for one more chance to experience the material world in a physical body. After passing to the trancition from the material world into the inmaterial world, which is under the domain of the spiritual entities, you will be able to use basically one sense, to move around imperceptibly, and in silence, which will become through the convination of three of our Human senses, vision, hearing, and vision, in another words, advance telephaty, though we can't control it, because the divine and sublime telepathic powers of God Jesus and of Course some of the more perfected Humans that have experience this world as well, ( will not alllow our seles to use them), until we can perfect then, somelike a new evolution< to achieved enough power on then to achieved our own use to the powers of our own reassoning. So, they have got enough senses to try to learn about this and they have been able to perfect their self a bit. LIfe is and will be the most beutiful thing we have ever had, together with the gift of Intelligence God has giving to all of us, to freely use it?, and try his creation in perfecting our selves, by helping one another, positivelly. God bless you, in jesus name. Amen. dying its a simple trancition we the energy, and our spiritual entity, needs to rest in peace, and find a new material existence to pursue to keep learnning and i mprouving our senses, which in the future we will be able to use without the need of a physical apparience, but in command of our own physical forms, that can be reflected in the Inmaterial and the invicible World, to get to Heaven.
