6-8 hours - so make sure you get at least 6. It also depends on your age, if you're younger you need more sleep.

Well personally I feel every person is different. Some people can go on I believe an entire day without sleep and be ok, while others need their 8 hours or more. I find that I can handle my day with only 6 hours of sleep rounded under my belt and feel fine. I go to bed at 1am and I'm able to get up at 7am to get ready for work. But again to each their own, only YOU know how much sleep you need to function well.

On a regular basis, I need 6 to 8 hours. Once in a while, I have 4 or 5 hours sleep and that's no problem. As long as you have experienced REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, you should be able to function the next day. I've heard that in 4 hours you experience REM.

you need to be getting a minimum of 8. in case your hw is taking you 6hrs then you definately ought to start up it in the previous. in case you're no longer information it and because of this it takes you so long see a instructor. A 13 year old would not have that lots homework to handle. additionally in the mornings you opt for 3 hours to get waiting? What in the worldwide are you doing that takes so long? An hour optimum is sufficient truly, relies upon on what you do. in case you pass to mattress at 9:30 (suitable bedtime for 13 year old) you're able to have had your 8 hours by employing 4:30! difficulty-free! Plus you will not ought to awaken till finally a minimum of after 6 so as that provides you much greater time. Sounds to me such as you in simple terms ought to deal with some time greater valuable.

I think it depends on the person. I can function on 2 hours of sleep for a full 48 hours so long as I stay busy. However, I have known people who require at least 9 hours of sleep per night in order to be at their best. My husband needs at least 6.5 hours per night in order not to be so cranky he can't even stand to be around himself.

The best survival was found among those who slept about eight hours a night. The sleep required depends on the age and lifestyle of a person. Most people slept less than 4.5 hours and this causes health problems.I found the information at:

it depends on individual. the advise hours needed are 8 hours but a "good night sleep", that is, free from dreams and nightmares is more important than the hours of sleep. you may have slept 10 hours but still feel tired but you need only a few hours of "good sleep" to stay alive.

really depend on your age....I'm 21 and between 6-8 is good for me, anymore than that and I'm groggy the next day. This is also dependent on what type of lifestyle you live. Go to be early? Go to bed late? If you short change yourself, coffee always is a good pick me up.
