We adpoted a cat that we think the old neighbors left behind ( my mom is supposed to ask the neighbors that use to live if it was theirs but i think she will yelled it at them instead) so we let the kitty sleep in the house. She usually sleeps on the bed with me. She prrs really loud, like one of my cats when they were younger) only she doesn't prrs at the some tone. She gots up real high and goes real low quickly. I don't know why she does that. Is it serious? If so anything I could do to help her? I am really worried please help. Don't say anything mean.

The kitty is over excited she knows she was abondoned for a time and now has love & care. She may just put alot of air through her pipes as she purrs. Unless she shows signs of discomfort no need to worry.

It is so nice of your family to give the cat a protected and warm place to sleep. I wouldn't worry about the strange purring. Sometimes cat purr when they are in pain, not always just when they feel loving and content.
I hope you can have a vet check for the cat to assess its general health.
Isn't it wonderful to have a purring cat on your bed at night? Enjoy her and don't worry too much.

Did you take it to the vet? But My guess is that just like humans have different tones in their voices the same with cat. Or if it's old enough the maybe it's in heat.

If she does this when she sleeps - maybe she is snoring. My cat does the same thing.
But I would have her checked out by the vet anyway since I am not a doctor.

She maybe in heat. That is her mate call. Not much you can do sweetie. Take her to a vet to get her fixed before you have a lot more kittens.

She might have a cold. That could be natural for her. See if she is eating, playing and seems happy. If so, then everything must be normal

Heck,I had my female fixed,and she still makes this noise.
Then she will bring one of the fur toys and carry it around like
its her baby.
