Why wait till your death bed?
He is giving eternal life NOW! However God knows the hearts of every person- He knows who truly loves Him- who is truly confessing and believing...

But yes the scriptures say-

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

To do so is sanctioning the acts of your entire life. Firstly, I am and atheist, so I take to this question objectively and abstractly. I would have to disagree becuase if there is a god, then he is a just god. To use a confession to sanction the actions of you're entire life, is morally stagnated. You're using this devotion and confession as a means to your own end. Just becuase you say the words doesn't mean that ( in my opinion ) that you are given a free pass. Say, a murderer/rapist/thief behaves immorally his entire life, and as he's dying on the bed, a priest-like figure comes in and gives him his last rites. The idea that a god that would accept this filth into his kingdom, based on the sole fact that the corrupt guy said a few words is absurd. I could go on and on about situations such at these. Please let this be enlightening that atheists are not bad people. I would say most people in America think we are devil worshippers and unethical people, this is a massively wrong assumption. Give people the chance to be judged on their actions, not their beliefs.

Hear Believe Repent Confess AND BE BAPTIZED FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS. Then you become a child of God.

If you have done these things and fallen away, Yes God will forgive you on your death bed.
God will always welcome his Children back when they stray.

We must do all that God tells us to become his child.
Acts 2:38; Acts 22:10-16;
Romans 6:1,2,3,4; Galatians 3:26,27; Colossians 2:12
Acts 8:35-39; Mark 16:15,16

If you would like more scriptures, let me know.

Please read these to know what God wants you to do to be saved.

PENNY MAE NAILED IT ON THE HEAD. BAPTISM IS ESSENTIAL AS THE OTHER REQUIREMENTS MENTIONED. PEOPLE MAY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT BUT I HAD RATHER DO IT AND GO TO HEAVEN THAN NOT DO IT AND BURN IN HELL. BUT A CHRISTIAN DOES THIS BECAUSE IT IS COMMANDED AND IT SAVES , I PET 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
SO TO ANSWER THE QUESTION, NO. NOT WITHOUT BEING IMMERSED IN BAPTISM.

whatever makes you feel better is fine... hell is on earth and that is where we suffer be it thru our own actions or the affectations of others... and there is no afterlife whatsoever, only nothingness and of course the LIVING afterlife whereby your memory is kept alive by others and THAT is your legacy be it good or bad. But when you die, you die and there is no religious dogma that can change that so YES you will go to heaven 100% guaranteed no matter how you die. NOW is the time to build a decent legacy so get moving.

According to the Bible yes if you really mean what your saying yes you will go to Heaven. Even a serial killer whos getting the lethal injection will go to heaven if he accepts Christ as is savior right before he dies.

Yes, if you truly believe in your heart that Jesus was born, died, and rose again and His sacrifice was sufficient for your sins.
But why wait until your "death bed"? There's no guarantee you'll have one.

Yes - even if you rape your own mother with a crucifix, murdering her in the process when you perforate her abdomen...you will still be granted entrance into Heaven as long as you beleive it.

Tragic, is it not, that Ghandi is rotting in Hell? Along with Tom Jefferson, Tom Edison and Marie Curie....

I agree with Penny Mae. Baptism is ESSENTIAL for eternal salvation. \

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth and IS BAPTIZED shall be saved. He that believeth not shall be condemned.
