To the best of my knowledge, none.
Hinduism stems from the 60,000 year old Vedic Religion; while Islam is the the latest, 1,400 year old offspring of the 2,006 year old Christianity which is the offspring of the 6,000 year old Judaism.
Islam is a Proto-Semitic Religion of the Middle East, whereas Hinduism is one of the Indian sub-continent.
The Sufi Sect, however, did create a kind of bridge between Hinduism and Islam, if memory serves me right and a Mughal Emperor - Akbar, also, tried something similar.
Merry Christmas!!!!
Edit,
I'm surprised to see such a lot of confusion among evident Asians!
Hinduism wasn't earlier Polytheistic, but Mono-theistic. Their entire philosophy was based on the tenet - "Deiveyhah nirguna, nirakara". The reference being to the the State of God being unattainable by physical and intellectual perception.
The Hindu trinity - Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are the 27 th Trinity, in fact, and represent the stages of Life - that you were born, now live and shall die!
Rama and Krishna are more recent figures from the Epics - Ramayana and Mahabharatha. The ISKON, of the Gaudiya Vaishnava Mutt is another recent development.
The actual Concept is that the Trinity are really three facets of one God, like in the Christian Trinity.
I studied Comparative Religion and know about all the Religions of the World, down to the Wiccan Traditons.
Just thought I'd try to clear up matters a bit.
2nd Edit,
It might be interesting to know that Islamic Scholars and Mathematicians learned a lot from the Hindus, in the old days, and even developed their Mathematics with the Hindus' help.
The Vedic Religion was a very complex one where they did calculatons that were accurate up to 16 decimal points and were far advanced to all others.
Before the Muslim invasions changed things, in India, Hindus and Muslims were actually helping each other!
Muslims held the "Spice Trade" buying "spices" from the Hindus and selling them to the Christians.
All this changed after some ruthless people invaded that peaceful Country and brought it under their rule when atrocities started and caused the divide.
The Arabs have traditionally been friends with the Hindus.
The Mongols, changed that.
Pst is right. Culturally, Muslims are closer to Indians and Hindus than to Christians of the West.

But apprantly there is no similarity between the two except that followers of both the religions are humen.

no joking here!!
they are extreme things.
(tolerence and intolelence)
by nature hindus are non-violent type
whereas muslims kill hindus daily in india.
in kashmir by every 8-10 hours they they slit hindus throat.
no hatred towards anyone, that's the fact.
verify from every known source
note: don't depend on pakistani media. they are run by ISI agents
can't you live with peace.

Nope. There is a HUGE difference between the 2, and that
narrows down all the similarities...if any.

No, except for the fact that they both worship and almighty diety.
They are both monothiest (that's right, Hindus believe in one God) that's probably the only thing they have in common.

I don't think so.
Multiple gods - one god.
Both have shown, lately, an increasing intolerance toward Christianity (Christians being burned alive in India).
