Great scripture, but if you want to get to the hearts and minds of the average person on this sight you might want to use a different translation. Try the NIV. But to answer your question, no the gospel is not hidden from me, I have been basking in the knowledge of our lord and savior Jesus, Christ for quiet some time. And I am here to tell you that the hunger never goes away.

The Gospel is not hidden from me. I've read and researched it extensively, and it isn't incomprehensible. And when I am hungry, I definitely find the food to fill it. Not just with the Gospel, but the writings of all the world's religions that I can discover. Amazing how similar they all are. The Gospel is one of a number of wonderful analogies of how to live life, worship the Divine, etc. That is truth to me. :) Happy Yule.

I'm not sure what difficulties other people are having with any of it. It's elementary exposition is really quite comprehensible and has no complexity.
But I find your references to Jesus a bit off the mark. Jesus wrote nothing, the writer you reference didn't know Jesus, and unless you're about to announce a great new discovery, you cannot claim to know who wrote the Gospels themselves.
As to what "truth" is contained in these simple texts, it's difficult to ascertain which to attribute to Jesus, and which to attribute to, say, Paul - who was obviously waging a faction fight against currents he disagreed with in that early period.
Yes, one ought to be hungry for "the truth," but that morsel must have substance. The appetite of a curious intellect cannot be whetted by such 3rd & 4th-party fluffy hearsay. To call that "truth" is to surrender to the pressures of tradition and the weight of "authorities" - it's the same thing as saying; "I will not question further ... all critical thought is behind me."

Do you think that everyone who believes in Jesus has the truth, I tell you, they do not. Even though they confess Jesus, Satan still has them blinded to the truth through lies from long ago. There is only one truth, one faith that Jesus started, but then, the Apostasy that was warned about, the falling away from the truth after the Apostles died. Jesus himself said, that there would be those saying Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, did we not expel demons in your name, did we not preform powerful works in your name, yet I will say to them, get away from me you workers of lawlessness, I never knew you. By their fruits you will know them every bad tree produces rotten fruit and every good tree produces good fruit, therefore the bad tree gets cut down and thrown into the fire. True disciples of Jesus Christ have love among themselves, are no part of the world, they observe God's word, will not pick up arms, preach the good news of God's Kingdom in all the earth making disciples of all Men. Who do that other than Jehovah's Witnesses, no one. I'm sorry that I don't tickle your ears.

2Cr four:three But if our gospel be concealed, it's concealed to them which can be misplaced: 2Cr four:four In whom the god of this global hath blinded the minds of them which think now not, lest the sunshine of the fantastic gospel of Christ, who's the picture of God, will have to shine unto them.

"With GOD all things are possible" I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe that he is the son of GOD, I believe that Jesus Christ is the only one that I can be save by. Any one else, is just a huff and a puff.
