Steve M the fact that those two numbers have come up recently doesn't effect the chance of them coming up again.
Each draw is "independent" of other draws, so even if the same number came up 4 times on the trot, it would still have exactly the same chance of coming up next time, no more chance, and no less chance.

Note though that some games of chance are not "independent", for example in the card game blackjack the deck isn't shuffled often so if a lot of low cards have come out, it means there are many high cards left in the deck, so the next card is more likley to be high.

You can go to my 360 page and from their to my home page and from their to my money page and then there is a thing that will pick you 6 numbers from 1 to 49. Buy a Lotto ticket and when you win email me and share the loot with me!

Don't bother with 9 or 46 this Saturday - they've both come up twice in the past three draws.
