All pregnant dogs really need to be on a high quality puppy chow. Slowly adding to regular food so no stomach problem. This really helps keep her weight up after whelping and insures milk.
Yes, can add some cooked egg to dry food. The better her nutrition the better the outcome for pups. We get in 100s of litters from a mom that had "just existed" and it is a hard fight to save/get healthy. She does not need "scraps" though. Have no problem with a healthy "treat" mixed into dry food.
Your main concern is being watchful of nursing pups, especially if a larger litter. To make sure all are nursing and staying warm!! Warm is vital to digestion.
As we get so many litters with no mom or mom so run down we have to jump in and help out. You should not have a problem. We encourage taking the mom/litter to vet within first few days if there seems to be ANY problem. There is a shot to clean the mom out just in case, to expell anything that could set up an infection. Also check out pups/weigh. Small price to pay to help insure their health. If first litter? Hard time whelping--long time between pups, any dead pups, large litter?
Thank you for your concern and planning ahead.

Unless your dog is overweight besides the weight of her pregnancy, it is good to feed her a premium puppy food. If that would mean changing her food out of the line of what you would usually feed her, here are some good brands, not all the good ones, but a few that are on the top of my head..
Royal Canin puppy food, Nature's Recipe lamb and rice puppy food, Authority puppy food, Eukanuba for puppies.
Pregnant and nursing dogs need more fat and protein. When changing food do it gradually, 1/4 portion new food to 3/4 old for a few days, then 1/3 to 2/3 a few days, then 1/2 to 1/2, then 3/4 new to 1/4 old, then all new.
You can also add a bit of Dan Active plain yogurt to her food. Check with your Vet about a vitamin supplement.

Every morning and night, I mix scrambled eggs with a little cheese in with our dogs food. They love it, and they have been eating eggs everyday for months. No, it will not harm them.

A little is probably okay, but the best thing you can do is by good quality dog food for her that is balanced. There are also 'vitamin supplements' for dogs. Talk to your vet if you have questions.

It would be fine for your dog as long as you don't give her too much. eggs are healthiy and do help the dog with the babies but not that much.
