You see I still need a very serious answer. Years ago I was reading an article about wolves and just as I looked at the photo of the alpha female I felt this jolt go through me,no, no one scared me. It was so upsetting that I layed down my magazine and went out to get a drink from the bubbler wondering to myself what in the hell was that? I came back into class and I was watching these two boys in my class as they were coming through the door, just watching them normally at least I believed I was. The first one suddenly got this frightened look on his face, nudges his friend, they rush over to their table flip through to the article about wolves, look at one another and nod and from that point on I was called wolf. So here is my true question what in the world was going on? This experience came after I met my best friends wolf hybrid and he bowed his head to me came to me and licked my hand.
After me called wolf I soon came to hate the word and the animal as well, years later..

I met that one hybrid and after I met him became his friend I had a completely different view of wolves to say in the least.
I believe that what happened to me when I looked at that alpha female is all connected
Though I cannot prove it.
Anyways if there is an animal that I feel that I have a very spirtual connection to it is the wolf.
The truth is I did not know enough to go and look for that last hybrid, I just figured the farmer was too old to bother with a dog, what I believe happened is the hybrid called me. I still believe that to this very day. I believe I was destined to be his friend and to be the only one ever to be near him when so many others failed. I believe I was destined to get that love bite from him.
Again my question is what was going on?
Is it possible that animal spirits can enter people?
I believe they can send out psychic messages of their own.
You see I often feel that I am a wolf and when I was with those two hybrids that is exactly how I felt.

So far thank you for your answers and if any one needs to know - I was not on acid or even wacky weed. Nice try though. In truth I call it a wonderful experience. The most beautiful I've ever had in my life all I need is just a way to call it.
Was I on acid now that's a good one!
No those boys were not flipping through pages they knew what page to go to, anyways that is neither here nor there.
Some of you said I apparently had a fear, no not true, I don't worry about those things of what I fear. I just know what I fear and it is not wolves. Yes my question is way out there and that is just the way it is.

Just so you know I would never make a pet out of a wolf and nor would I expect him to be a pet. That also goes for hybrids, and those I always see as wolves. His spirit is way to noble for that.

The Souix Indians believe we all have spirit animal guides in our lives, most of the time we don't know who or what they are. It is possible that your were given the gift of knowledge of your spirit animal guide. You will see the sign of the wolf always throughout your life, it will be intended to guide you and would never harm you, in fact just the opposite. I do not expect you to believe me, nor do I expect that you will fully understand. In my case it is the bear that guides me. Not sure how to answer that question,but many people do actually feel some connection with animals that goes beyond what others would expect or accept. In my own case it's with cats,with very very few exceptions cats seem drawn to me. I have a great respect for the predatory side of cats and other animals that have a strong predatory nature also seem sometimes drawn,but mostly cats. However the vast majority of animals that are in nature prey animals are very often overly frightened of me for no logical reason,even when they are very tame otherwise. So if nothing else I know animals are at a minimum great readers of who we really are,and react accordingly which is not always good. After all some very otherwise good dogs have also hated me for no discernable reason which was a bit of an issue when I was young and unable to defend myself,I was severely attacked once. The only dogs I regularly get on well with are very submissive ones who don't mind being lorded over.

This seems to be some sort of spiritual clash between you & your best friend's wolf. I think you should speak to those boys to find out why they called you this, & what was it that made them look at you in fear. Don't hate the world or the animal for this, because this can be a blessing in disguise that may really help you somtime to come. Speak to someone who will take you seriously, with some insight as to what's really going on. What have you done thus far, since you said this happened years ago......

It's nothing. I don't know why you're asking it in the Religion section. But I'll suffice it to say that you are only seeing the coincidences and connecting them together by a fear (belief) you have.
By the way, I find it very hard to believe that these two guys would look at you "rush over to their table flip through to the article about wolves, look at one another and nod". What is this a cartoon? This doesn't happen in real life.

A question might be, can someone pick up a spirit from an animal. From my limited study, I don't think that it would be the animal's own spirit, but it could be another spirit manifesting the charicteristics of an animal. If you are concerned about having an unwanted guest, I suggest that you test the spirit on the basis of 1 John 4. If it is not of God and you don't want it, it will be exposed.

I have had something like this happen to me...but not quite as strange.
I've watched the Discovery Channel's Blue Planet and I end up looking and acting a little different after watching it. My family noticed me acting different.
Maybe its the same for you:
I think they just noticed you looked different, saw what you were looking at and came up with the name.
Maybe its our connection to the wild, but all humans are PART of this Earth.
It could be something even stranger.

If I were you, I'd check out the Native American mythology about Wolf. You might be a harbinger of that animal's "medicine." That's how they refer to a particular animal's aspects and traits.

I have no idea. If I wanted to believe in some deep spiritual animal soul magic, your story is still contradicting itself, and I don't want to anyway. Maybe you should go do some wolf experiments now that you're older to see if it wasn't one of those "Superman lives in my lunchbox" kind of things all along.

definitely way out id have to guess that even if some one told you of something that they believed happened you probably wont be able to accept it and believe it and you will still be bothered possiblt even more so i would suggest that you try to ignore whatever happened and minimize it so it doesnt bother you
as far as you hating rhe word and animal it makes sense bec it was a source of discomfort for you

I don't know, never heard of it to be honest. But i guess you would see a doctor, or something. Talk to your friend more and see how they came across that idea. Don't know what else to say...good luck
