Guys getting intimate... how to explain?
how do you define a guy who gets very physically intimate with ANY girl out there, (fat ones, short ones, ugly ones) such as putting his arm around their necks, touching and fiddling with their hair intensely, but just won't even to touch the girl he has a crush on? (the girl whom he confessed to be hot and pretty) how do you explain this?
sorry the second part. i mean, as in, he just won't go physically intimate at all with the girl whom he is sooo attracted with.
how do you explain this guy? why does he do this or what does he want?

Ah, from experience (my younger days. . . at least the part about not laying a hand on anyway): It is the "pedestal effect". The one he wants/desires/loves is almost sacred to him. As such, the mere act of physical contact has tremendous significance for him and fills him with trepidation. These other ladies do not have the same effect on him because their affection is not his concern, and their presence un-intimidating.

he is probably to scared of being rejected.....he puts his crush up on a pedastal (thoeretically) and then thinks he's not at the same level anymore.... just my opinion.

maybe he is just explaing a compliment and has no interest in the girl otherwise he would be all over her more than the others
