There is no Jewish "belief" about Jesus whatsoever! If a man named Jesus grew up at that time in Israel, he would have studied Torah and the oral law and would have married and had children in his early teens. A boy was not considered to be an adult until marriage; therefore, an unmarried man would have had no followers whatsoever!

Judaism has little or nothing to say on the subject of Jesus. There are some veiled references in the Talmud, but other than that, pretty much nothing.

That said, it would have been considered unusual, if not unconscionable, for a 30-year old Jewish man, especially one who was considered a rabbi and king by some, to be unmarried.
Now, if Matthew's account of his birth was an active rumor during his life, then, his not being married would not be unexpected...however, if so, he would not be considered eligible to be a Jewish king either.

Who ever believes this apparently doesn't believe in or read God's inspired word.

Nowhere in the Holy Scriptures does it even hint of Christ having a wife.

1 Timothy 6:3-----2 Timothy 4:3:---For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables,
But watch thou in all things....
We are warned about FALSE teachers . Only Obey God's word.

Only the DaVinci Code religion believes that Jesus had a wife...

...and seeing how it says on the first page...the is a fictitious book...

That pretty much covers it.

No-where in Biblical text does it tell us that Jesus Christ of Nazareth was married.

However, His believers are the Church and the Church is His Bride.

Gi see the movie the Davinci Code. Some Pagan organizations think he did. The Mormans think Jesus had at least three. One was Mary Madeline.

Jews don't say much about Jesus except that either he was a decent moral teacher or that he was a false prophet (far, far more say the latter than the former).

In fact, I've heard some ultraconservative Jews append "May his name be stricken from history" when refering to Jesus.

No religion has even suggested that. Only novelists.
Do you believe Harry Potter waved his magic wand? Do you believe Frodo actually got rid of the ring of power?
Make a difference between what is presented as a novel and what is presented as a religious belief.
And what is presented as a historical fact.

Don't know. I've never heard anybody mention it until the DaVinci Code came out.

Probably Jews don't know and don't really care.
