Go to the shortest list in your Library menu, as in the list that is of just album names. Select the first item in the list (single click), hold down the shift key, and select the last in the same list. You should see all items are now highlighted.

Now right-click your mouse and select "delete". You will then have to hit the enter key a few times as it cycles through everything, but that goes pretty fast.

One bug I've found with WMP though is that even though you've deleted them off your library, they may still show up if you haven't deleted them off your system entirely. So if they're sitting in your trash bin, they may still be found and put back in your library.

To make it so it doesn't even save records go to tools and then options, next click the privacy tab, and there should be a box that says save file and url history in the player next to it. If you uncheck this box the history will never be saved.
