According to scripture it was Mary Magdalene. She went to the tomb with his mother to anoint the body.

According to Jewish custom only a mans mother or wife could do this.

Anyone who disagrees does not understand scripture or Jewish history.

Jesus was not married. (unless you mean in the fictional book) The Bible does not ever mention Jesus having a wife.

The Bride of Jesus is the Church. The church is the body of Christ; His body of believers.

He did not have a physical wife. He was not married.

***Don, you are mistaken. No where in the Biblical text does it say that Jesus was married...at least not in the Holy Bible (translated from original manuscripts.)

The Church (All Christians) is the bride of Christ. There is no single woman who is the bride of Christ. Those who believe in Chist are considered his bride.
