Like I said I am 5'4 and 130lbs. Probably the heaviest I have been in my life. I am 23 years old. I played sports during high school and was always very small. I stayed fairly small in college walking on campus and always stressing out. I now workout when I can but have recently hurt my hip and have restrictions. I have recently started doing Weight Wachters to lose some weight. I feel like my midsection, and also butt and hips are large. I don't know if I am seeing the wrong thing, but I feel like I keep getting fatter. I am so terrified, it almost makes me sick worrying about it. I love to cook and love to eat all kinds of stuff...that used to be one of my favorites things to do on the weekends. I look in the mirror every night to see if I look fatter...I think it is consuming me. Everyone tells me how beautiful I am and skinny and they can't believe I do Weight Watchers...but I think they are all crazy. I feel nasty. Please HELP me.

Just wanted to add, I do workout. Probably about 2 hours a day. Haven't for the past 3 days I hurt my hip and can't for about another week. I usually run about 4 miles and then do the elliptical for about 30 mins. Lift upper and lower body alternating days....

Not anywhere did you mention exercise. You need to run or fast walk and hour every day. You will be amazed what that will do for you along with your diet.

DO not ever try any pills. Don't mess with your health. Diet pills can affect your heart and do some serious damage.
The moviestar diet is a scam. All these diets that sound too good to be true...ARE to good to be true. There is no good diet if it says it is fast. You gain it all back and double. Be wise please.

You can try www.sparkpeople.com
It is a healthy way to lose weight.
You type in how much you want to lose and by when etc...and they plan out your meals so you can achieve your goal. They have a calorie counter and everything. Plus they give you a fitness plan according to what type of exercising you like to do. The exercises can be done at home like dumbells, resistance bands & ball. You can also choose from walking, jogging,or a home video. There's many different options. It's like having a nutritionist and it is free. You also have support from the members. A real neat site. I'm quite impressed.
Enjoy!

God Bless!

Do a food diary and do it every day. Try http://www.myfooddiary.com It's only $9/month and it's much cheaper (and from what I've read) easier to do than WW. You are accountable for what you eat so you eat whatever you want but you must log it. You will start to see from the charts/graphs/reports where you are going wrong so you can steer yourself in the right direction and empower yourself to make the changes you need to. Every person and body is different. This will help you lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off.

The best answer to that question might be to help yourself. You are admitting your problems (though I thnk that you are of ideal size/weight) yet not doing anything about them. SO DO SOMETHING.

If you feel you are getting fatter, increase your exercise input to 30 minutes per day at 80% of your maximum effort. That means getting your heart rate up to about 90-110 beats per minute for 20 minutes (have a 5 minute warm up and cool down). Moderate your diet by eating 20% fat, 30% veggies and 50% carbs. Do some reading that will help raise your self-esteem, stop reading articles on paper thin morons. Get your boyfriend to compliment you more often...

Hope it works.

Just get out there and exercise, and to heck with them if they think you are crazy for doing weight watchers, but you are not overweight and after we have kids and are no longer as active as we were in school this happens.

5'4", 130 lbs.
Your BMI score is: 22.3

A BMI score of 18.5 to 24.9 indicates you have a healthy body fat ratio. Remember to keep your healthy lifestyle by eating right and exercising

I understand - I have the same ordeal when I look in a mirror.
I'm 5'5 and about 100 lbs.
I think it's important to lose WATER WEIGHT. That's probably the first thing to focus on. I hear that going low carb and higher in LEAN protein for about a week is a good start. This helps to lose water weight. Then think about upping the cardio.
