I have put kittens on www.petfinder.com and have been very sucessful in finding homes for strays, I have found homes for 20 this year alone. Be careful though there is a scam on there where someone will offer you big bucks to ship your pet somewhere just don't respond to those. On petfinders someone will contact you through phone or e-mail and you can ask them any questions you like, that way you can make sure they are going to good homes.

Put an ad in the paper. A lot of newspapers have free ads for this. Also there are rescue organizations that can help. SPCA in California is good. Here in Arkansas we have an organization called FURR especially for cats. Also if you have a PETCO store, check with them, they have adoptions on Saturdays.
Right now I have four kittens myself I need homes for, I put an ad in the paper. Good luck!
Advertise the kitten as a Christmas kitten.

Kittens can be at a premium around the Christmas season. If you can afford to take the kitten in for a vet check, worming, testing for feline disease and started on his shots then you can place an ad in the paper to try to find him a home.

If you do not want, or can't, do this for him at around $100 then you must surrender him to a shelter where he can be treated medically and placed for adoption.

Your "rescue" of him is commendable and you need to follow through to give him a chance at a good, healthy life.

If you do advertise him for adoption be sure to screen potential adopters - they should have veterinary references (be sure to check). You might take a refundable deposit on his future neutering too. When they bring you papers assuring that the job has been done you can give the money back to them. I don't think $50 is out of line on that.

put a small santa hat on him and take him to a local store, stand out side the store and ask people of they want a free christmas kitten. this worked for me. one time my mom told me that if I didn't get rid of a kitten she was going to take him to the animal shelter. so, I got my butt to albertsons and waited for about a half an hour until someone claimed the kitty. I have done this twice and it worked both times.

first of all, you could come to a call in case you will shop all of them. if so, provide them some food and water. Then get some cat treats and place them in a carboard field that's mendacity on its edge. Then wait until they walk into it and then tip the field very heavily back onto its suitable place. Then take them to the vet for a checkup. in case you do not choose them, then telephone your nearby puppy shield and ask them to return and %. them up. they'll in all likelihood say that they are going to come %. them up while they are in a field or some thing like that. There you pass.
