Well... Theistic Evolutionism is rather a silly thing to believe if you take it to its logical conclusions, as it is neither good science nor good theology.
If you believe in the philosophy of Evolution, then you must tell us that God lied in Genesis. If you believe God lies in the Bible, then you have no real reason to believe any part of the Scriptures, and the basis of your faith disintegrates. Thus Theistic Evolution is wrong from a theological standpoint.
Meanwhile, the idea that there is a God who created the world and started Evolution is wrong scientifically because God cannot be observed, measured, or experimented with. That doesn't mean God doesn't exist, but it is poor science (due to science's limitations).
So, is it possible to be a Christian and one who believes in Evolutionary philosophy? I am unsure. Perhaps it is possible for someone if they have not put time into thinking about it, but once a person actually begins to understand the ramifications of such a belief, they will be forced into choosing either Christianity or Evolutionary philosophy. There is no permanent middle ground.

Yes. Most Christians don't consider the Bible to be a work of science, and find no contradiction between science and their belief.
I just watched an interview on The Colbert Report of a guy who just wrote a book, I think it's called God's Language -- DNA is the language in which God "wrote" life, as it were.
He's both a Christian and a biologist who understands evolution -- he's not the only one. I think he said about 40% of his colleagues are Christian.
I think it's more common in the US for people to think that people must chose between Christianity and science -- that is, a faction of Christians in America have been promoting this idea, but outside of the US, people see no contradiction between their religion and science.
Unfortunately, few people on both sides of this debate understand evolution very well.

To a certain extent, yes. I believe that when God created the world he didn't create every species of dog. He just made one(or two) that would reproduce and eventually we would have all the different breeds of dogs.
Now skip ahead a few chapters to Noah. When God flooded the earth, Noah took only two of every animal. So if I am wrong about the first one, then the same theory applies to Noah and the ark. When they got off the ark there were only two of every animal. They would reproduce and give us all these different types of animals we have today.
There is so much to say regarding this topic, there really is. It can be hard to know what to believe.
I hope I gave a good summary for you. I'm only thirteen, so I'm not a scientific genius or anything. I just know what I believe in.

I believe myself to be a Christian and I not have a problem with Evolution. In the Bible it speaks of; in the twinkling of an eye, we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52. I not sure of the exact definition of Evolution, but, I thought it dealt with things/people changing over time. 1 Cor 15:52 may be considered too fast to be a form of Evolution. But, I not believe I evolved from an Ape, I evolved from God!
Now I will admit, some people may have evolved from a "Pack Rat" just look in/out around their house, but, they did not evolve from an Ape.

Of course it is possible, not only is it possible it is a part of some Christian teachings. The idea behind melding both thoughts is that God did create the world in seven days, only thing is we do not know how long a day was during creation, it could have lasted eons. Man kind created the 24 hour day, not God. Bring man into the picture, God created thousands of creatures prior to mankind. None of them were fit to have a human soul infused into their bodies. Somewhere along the line, God chose one of his creations and made it man, he infused it with a soul.
A little short on the full explanation, but God Himself created the world and all that happens in the world. Man is just a dust speck in the cosmos.

Micro Evolution is a science. It shows that if you breed two different types of the same animal (lets say dogs), that you may get a new breed that will be able to pass on its characteristics to its offspring thus establishing a new breed of dogs.
The same idea goes for plants also.
The point is; dogs are ALWAYS going to have dogs.
Cats are going to have cats.
Roses are going to have roses.
In the Bible, things are divided by "kinds", science divides things by "species". But scientist are trying to come up with a new system, because they are finding way to many things are in the wrong categories, so it is posable that things in different species can reproduce together and things in related species can not reproduce.

Yes, most Christians say, that Genesis could refer to evolution. They site that the Bible never specifies how long a day is for god. So, 7 days could be millions of years to god. I find this inadequate. because if the Bible said he create everything in 168 hours instead of 7 days, Christians would be like, "Well, how long is an hour to god? The bible never specifies how long an hour is in god's eyes." Well no, but an hour is an hour. It's sixty minutes, 3600 seconds. Well, how long is a minute or a second to god?

I believe in micro-evolution, the small changes within a species. I just think it's called adaptation and that God is responsible for it. Do I believe we will turn into another species? No.
Merry Christmas.

Nope. A true Christian believes in creation by design, by our creator GOD. an evolutionist does not.
SO, its like saying you can believe you are both a man and a woman. which is it???
Its an either or situation. any anyone claiming Christianity that says they believe in evolution is not of GOd.
Now, some things may have happened in outer space, but it is God that created all of that. Who made the planets that you say all collided to make the big bang?? COme one, You cant get nothing from nothing.>>>>>>>>
SO, no the answer is just NO.
