Dude what are you on about?Explain your rant, don't just throw things in the air.Christmas trees have nothing to do with Christ. It is more or less a iconic symbol attached to Christmas.Christ was born in a stable and was given gifts by the three wise men but none of which was a TREE.As Christmas is the appointed day given to the celebration of the birth of Christ, the ritual it's self is Pagan. So my friend don't confuse the two-but I don't know where you reside but I myself am blessed to be living in Canada and if you are being denied in this nation of ours your right to celebrate Christmas and the practice of your traditions then I say you need to kick someass.I believe as long as one doesn't force on to others their beliefs, deliberately hurt or harm any of God's creatures, respect one another, their rights values, faiths, traditions then there will never be such conflicts.God bless us all, have a very merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.peace.Riz>.

Dude, the Christmas tree is simply a traditional symbol of the season harking back to Yule celebrations that were held around this time of year long before there was such a thing as Christmas.
Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Christ. True, there are many who have somewhat forgotten this due to the over commercialization of the gift giving tradition of the season. However, either way, the season has nothing to do with Christmas tree worship.

You can make a Idol out of anything in your life. For some people it's a car for others a boat. The more spiritual often do it with their families. To put anything above God makes it am Idol. That said I can do anything that I wouldn't be ashamed to do if Jesus was sitting right beside me. Putting up a Christmas tree is one of those things.. I am under His grace having the LAW fully satisfied in His blood... Jim

Well, if I were to worship the tree that I decorate, then that would be worshipping a false idol.
Instead I place an evergreen tree in my house and decorate it with decorations and lights to serve as a symbol of the wverlasting life that I have through Christ, how Christ is the light of the world and to remind me of the many blessings i have from God.
Merry Christmas.

An idol is an object of worship, which covers the people in your Bible verse, but Christians don't worship our tree we decorate with it.
The wedding ring is a pagan symbol, do married Jehovah's Witnesses still wear pagan symbols on their finger?

I have never seen anyone worship a Christmas tree. There is nothing wrong with decorating.
Merry Christmas.

Just because not everybody that celebrates Christmas is a Christian doesn't mean that nobody is. If you're that disturbed that people don't celebrate Christmas for the right reasons, maybe you should do something about it instead of giving Christmas and Christians and most of all, Christ a bad name.
...just sayin'.

It's great how devout Christians gather around a pagan symbol of virility about this time every year. The tree was a pagan virility symbol hijacked like so many other symbols.
The one that really amuses me is the "fish" symbol you sometimes see on the rear end of cars. This symbol was taken over by the Christians and was originally an ancient fertility symbol - the Christians just added the "tail" part and turned the symbol on its side. The original pagan symbol was a stylised drawing of the female genitalia - it always cracks me up to see Christians driving around with a drawing of that stuck to their car.
