Going to watch some outdoor sport and looking for any interesting (and not lethal) hip flask recipes - preferably ones that are warm. I have tried dark rum and bovril (50:50 ratio) which is rather nice.

Go with something completely different like Crown and Mountain Dew. The Mountain Dew , unlike the traditional Coke, still holds its taste even if the flask has shaken up and the soda loses its fizz.

I prefer to sip either Blackberry Brandy or Peppermint schnapps out of a flask. But it has to be Mohawk.

A very strong mix of vodka and orange as the orange doesnt go 'off' it will last a long time and a good strong mix of vodka will give you a good libation to warm those lil cockles or jack daniels straight.
