After 5 p.m. is usually the time for cocktails, and then a dinner. Depending on the people you were invited by, if it seems like a formal party, you should dress that way. Nothing too casual (no jeans) but nothing too fancy either.

i'm able to work out the place you will possibly be able to sense slightly surpassed over, yet look at it this form; If the spouses or S.O's could pay out of pocket some won't be waiting to handle to pay for that rate. This 365 days the adult men at my "lovey's" activity had a call. because of the fact that he works for an extremley small business enterprise the adult men have a call A) A small pizza occasion for in simple terms the workers and a greater trip bonus. or B) a trip occasion w/ spouses secure and a smaller bonus.

well, I think that you should were something fairly nice. like a nice blouse and a pretty skirt. don't wear a real standing out skirt, but something plain but at the same time really nice. maybe you should wear the colors of the holiday party you are going to. well, If your really stuck, call your boss. He/she might be able to tell you and help you out. or aska coworker that you are friendly with. whatever the case may be, lets just be glad that these "Holiday Partys" for working only come once a year. I mean, the only reasoon I go to work is for money. it all depends on were you work too. if you work at a big company or something, than dress nice, but if you work at resterant, or any other job that isn't a career really, than dress casual. who cares?

You can go with the classic little black dress. A nice dressy (not business) pantsuit would work too. Black slacks with a sparkly top, high heels, up do on the hair and sparkly accessories. It could even mean cocktail dress. I would ask my female co-workers what they are planning to wear so I didn't over dress or under dress.

Just a bit dressy than business dress.

A dressy pantsuit with a dressy necklace and earrings, or a nice dress with a sparkly blazer. This is an example.

Just keep in mind, just a little dressier than business dress.

After 5pm is semi formal, NO jeans please ! It does not mean black tie either so don't over do it, some where in between, classy and elegant but comfortable. The black dress option always works !

It means casual dress. Jut a nice pair of jeans with a nice top and maybe a waste coat or something like that. and a pair of nice pumps.

Now my after five would be my jogging pants and flip flops. lol
