Yes, it's still OK to love them but for your own sake you have to move on and the best way to do that is to go out with some other people and look for 'the one' that won't break your heart.

Wow - three years is a long time girl. Do you realize that that is three years of your life? It is okay to love someone and still care for them (noteworthy, actually), but you're fabulous and deserve to move on!
You probably don't realize this yet, but you're over him too. Otherwise you wouldn't be asking.
All relationships end for a reason. Please go pick up a copy of Greg Behrendt's "It's called a break-up, because it's broken" & pint of ice cream, but then move on with your fabulous self!
Perhaps what you miss & long for isn't him, but the idea of him. Just imagine yourself in a relationship with someone who loves the idea of YOU. : )
Let's stop recycling broken relationships : )!!!

Hey,
Yeah that's a tough situation to be in. Knowing (or thinking) they are over you even makes it worse!
My advice is for you to hit the gym. This does many positive things for you: It helps relieve stress, and you'll look and feel better which is a major boost to your self confidence...which is something all people going through a break up need!
Good luck and I hope you feel better soon. :)

This is normal. You can't just change the way you feel about someone. You can't control your feelings. But you also can't control that his feelings have changed. Only time can heal. Good luck.
