Physicians rarely get drug tested since 99.9% of them are considered self employed and are only granted permission to use hospital services. Nurses and other employees that are actually employed by the hospital are drug tested according to the hospital drug and alcohol policy. This ppolicy can vary tremondously from hospital to hospital.
