why do people hate soliders in the u.s. army?

It depends on the person. Some still have the mentality of the Vietnam era and some only see what the media puts out. It's sad realy because guess who we rely on when a natural disaster hits?

Because these people are idiotic, ignorant people who do not wake up everyday worrying about whether or not they will make it home to see their families.
More specifically- the Army, soldiers in the Army make up a vast majority of the current force in Iraq. There should be no hatred towards the Army when they are doing their job everday, day in, day out.

What do you mean ? Who hates the soliders? We in the United States support our troops, but hate the war. I imagine that the people of Iraq want us out, and who can blame them ?
Also it is Marines, sailors, and soliders there too. So, alot of people hate all the members of the military, but as I said, you would hate invaders of our country as well.

There are some hateful people in the world. They hate soldiers, but call on them for defense of their country. They hate priests, but call on them at the time of impending death. They hate policemen, but call on them when they are threatened by crime.

Basically, there are some people who would rather hate and complain than contribute to the righting of wrongs in the world.

In the United States, I suspect there are more people who pray for members of our armed services than harbor hatred for them.

hate is a very strong word and i dont think any us citizen hates the military.

however not all people agree with war. i persanally feel that it is murder no matter how you look at it.

you may say that i have freedoms and they are enjoyed only because of persons willing to do this job. well i say if everyone felt as i do than we would not have wars (murders). we are part of the problem when we go to war. its just mankind showing that they are not as smart as they look. its easy. everyone put down your weapons and dont kill anymore. "you do it first"... "no you do it first"

I think most people have issues with the leadership misusing the soldiers. Who hates the soldiers??? They are brave and keep our country safe and strong!
