JP, we atheists don't want evidence. Agnostics are those who are in question and would like some sort of evidence. Atheists are strong believers of reason.
My answer to the question, however, is...well...I would say no because just because an atheist is studying the world's religions doesn't mean they're looking for evidence.

I am an atheist and I studied the sector's religions in school. I used to be additionally raised in a catholic loved ones, went to catholic tuition, used to be the altar boy (not anything occurred to me although), communion, affirmation, the entire rituals and rights played. I believe that in case you are living a faith after which as you emerge as older and begin to impeach a few of the teachings as good because the research of choices to a god you quickly observe the god idea has many flaws.
