I am trying to save an excel file to a blank CD I borrowed from a coworker. It's a memorex CD-R. When I try to access the D drive, I get an error message that says:

"Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows."

What should I do?

Get a new disc. It's most likely scratched.

I used flash memory drives---it's 1000 times faster than burning a disc, and it never gets scratched! You should look into them...they're not that expensive, especially if you're going to be using them a lot.
