No I don't think you are crazy because I have 8 cats and I love them dearly.2 I just got given to me and the other 6 where strays. The youngest 3 their mother wouldn't have anything to do with them so my husband and I took them in.Another one is from the farm that we live on and his mommy died.I have a pure black male when he was born he hardly had no tail we took him to the vet and they told us that he had spinal biff ea.the last two it was a cold winter and they wouldn't stay over in the barn so we brought them in.So Tigger female is 12,Lucky female is 10,Patch female is 7,Bear is male and is 3,Sambo male is 2 and Cinnamon female,Ginger female and Leo male are 1.So if you think you are crazy for 4 what am I. I think we are just kitty lovers.

Definitely not! It sounds like they're being well taken care of and have enough room in your house to be comfortable and then some! I've had 5 cats at once (my cat had gotten out after someone tried to break in to my apartment through a broken window) and that one time outside she got pregnant and had 4 kittens. I eventually found them all great homes, but I wasn't too pleased about bringing more kittens into the world. By the way, my cat was too young for the vet to spay (they insisted she be 6 months old at that time, although I know some vets now will spay them even younger than that). She was about 2 weeks away from being old enough to spay, but apparently, she was old enough to get pregnant.
As long as the cats are kept well nourished, have clean litterboxes (I would suggest you have several throughout the house - at least 2, maybe even 3), plenty of toys to play with, comfy places to nap, etc. I don't think 4 is too many at all!
Enjoy the holiday with your cats...and no, you're not becoming the crazy cat lady.

Well, as all the other answers are saying, if you get them spayed and neutered you should be fine. We have three cats, but we also have a four bedroom house and they are allowed outside. If you live in an area where that is safe, that would be a great way to lessen the stress. Otherwise, have fun! I love lots of cats!
(yes, I'll be the crazy cat lady - but with all spayed and nuetered - too!)

Four cats in a 3 bedroom house is not too many. Just keep in mind that the recommended number of litter boxes is the number of cats plus one.
Also bear in mind that cities often have ordinances about the number animals you can have. In my area, four is the limit. Once you have five, it's considered an unlicensed kennel and can get you in a great deal of trouble.
If the kitties are happy and well cared for you, and you are happy taking care of them, then I think its fine for a young woman to have four cats. I don't think you hit the "crazy cat lady" stage until you hit double digits.

And as long as they are taken care of and everything 4 is definatly not alot, now if you had said oh 40, then I would have said yep crazy cat lady :P

I think 4 is fine. Just make sure that you get them spayed and neutered, or you will become the crazy cat lady with 50 cats!

I have 4 cats. I think you have to have 5 in order to qualify as a crazy cat lady. Anyway, as long as you can afford to keep them healthy and have time to play with all of them, it's fine. Good luck and keep loving those kitties. Make sure they're all fixed. Crazy cat ladies tend to like kittens and let their cats breed.

I don't think 4 cats is too many. If each is recieving veterinary care, food, water, and clean litters and you have time each day to play and cuddle each of them then they are fine! I have 7 dogs and 2 cats myself, and they are all very well cared for and loved.
Now.... if you had 40 cats- thats a bit different!!! =)

As long as you can afford to continue to give them the care they need and can also give them the love they need, then no, four is not too many.
Oh and, you say "crazy cat-lady" like it's a bad thing....
