That has never happened to me. I run with a high class bunch of people though.

I was a waiter for 2 years and had to deal with this for all that time, from kids running around when they're not supposed to, to drunks in a family restaurant, smoking in non-smoking sections, and the occasional belching.
If you happen to be dining someplace, it is your right to complain even against other diners. I exercise it often. If the waiter doesn't want to deal with the matter personally, the manager of the place should have the tact and experience to do it. Now if the restaurant you're talking about serves its food behind a counter, then all bets are off.

What an experience! How did you survive such vileness? I was fortunate, I have never gone to a restaurant with such a belching and nose blowing person.

That is one of my biggest pet peeves. If you can't excuse yourself to the bathroom before blowing your nose, I'm excusing myself and going home.

I would've left the table and then the restaurant...leaving they're nasty-*** by themselves.
