hiccups are caused by a slight blockage of your airway.you have to relax and breathe slow and deep to open your airway back up.don't panic it's common.it only means something you swallowed didn't go all the way down.

You can get rid of someone else's hiccups by asking them to prove to you that they actually have the hiccups. Works for sneezing too if you can catch it in time.

the next time you get the hiccups or better yet the next time someone around you gets the hiccups, ask them: When is the last time you saw a solid white horse. works everytime for me!!!

Gently rub the hole in the throat which is called "heavens rushin point" the hiccups should go away fast.
U could also try a spoon of sugar.

Deep breathing. Slowly breath in through your nose and then control slowly your exhale through the mouth. Keep repeating this and concentrate on it. It relaxes the larynx.

Hold your breath and sip water slowly. Take as many sips as you can without breathing, then breathe and try again. It always works for me.

hold your breath and stretch out your stomach, the diaphragm is spasming and needs to be relaxed good luck with that

Drink out of a glass backwards, always works, e.g. tilt your head forward when driking.
