Yes, they violated their Gulf War cease fire agreement. The countries that did not want to invade were benefitting in the oil for food scandal.

if you believe there was WMD, although none has been found.

If you believe that Iraq was in bad shape under Saddams rule. Now that can be seen two ways. The sanctions put on Iraq affter the first Gulf war sevearly hinderd Iraqs econmy, hospitals had alot of red tape beacause of chemicals used to treat patients may be used to make Chem/Bio weapons. Also the same can be said for clean drinking water. Now thats not saying Saddam was a good person. But before the first gulf war they were a pretty modern and wealthy country.

NO. the United States claimed there were Weapons of mass destruction. there were none.

NO. The united States has been responsible for more deaths in three years then Saddam in 20.

NO. The United States has lost the goodwill of just about every country because of this war.

In hindsight, America has all but dropped the search for bin Laden, did not find any WMD's or al Quadea terrorists in Iraq and our troops were sent in without enough support.

Yes, fired on US military aircraft in the no-fly zone.

Yes, chemical weapons were uncovered and fall under the UN definition of WMD that were to have been destroyed but weren't.
