Help its for a history project due in two days

You might also see about renting the movie. I'm not at all saying the movie is an accurate reference for an academic project but it might help add perspective. By that I mean it shows something about what they endured, about why upper level leaders made decisions that didn't necessarily make sense at lower levels, etc. It also tells something about the toll that the war took on the battalion commader after it was over.

Google 'The Lost Battalion" - If I remember right, it was a New York National Guard unit that was cut off and fought their way out of a German trap in WWI-Next time, you may want to start sooner than two days before the due date....
