PowerPoint is NOT a free program and can NOT be downloaded. It must be purchased from Microsoft. It is included in some of the higher end versions of the Microsoft Office Suite. It can also be purchased as a stand alone program for about $225.

There is a free alternative. You could try Open Office. The Impress program can open and save files in PowerPoint format.

Power Point is a Microsoft product and you have to buy it.

But if you are trying to view powerpoint files then you can view them without that software also, by any of the given methods for free.
-- Download powerpoint viewer from Microsoft download website.
-- Download open office it can edit and preview files but is damn slow and misses some active x features.
