Every day I let the child inside come out and play. 36 now. You have to laugh at yourself, it's the only thing sometimes that keeps the sanity.
For instance, Last Saturday night, at the dance club with a couple guy friends, you know, looking for the next Ms. Victoria Secret.... anyway, it was early around 10:00pm, the DJ was jamming some really good stuff, but no one was dancing. Me? I don't have to get 3 or 4 drinks down before I'm ready to have a good time. I'm high on life! Anyway, my friends know I can hang with the best of them on the dance floor so they dared me a shot of Tawakka that I wouldn't get on the dance floor and get the party started. So I said order the shots and order me two more. So I get the three shots, pick out the best looking two women in the place and bring them the shots. I simply say, "Here's to a fun Saturday Night, whenever you ladies want to dance let me know." We do the shots, I take thier shot glasses and set them on the bar. And walk over to the dance floor. DJ was kicking "I'm bringin Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake" And I broke it down for them. Before the song was finished. I had those two ladies dancing with me and two more came to join in. It was awsume. So the 5 of us were on the floor getting freeky with it. Then I noticed a couple more get on the dance floor. By the next song, the whole place was dancing.
I got another shot on top of the one they promised as a result, and hooked two of my friends and myself up with some 12's on a scale of 1 to 10.
That's what it's all about! Living life, having fun, and meeting new people. Some times, you just have to take a chance and let go of your fears. Always, Always, Always, SMILE! It's contageous.

Dude for me, I think that I do that way too much. But I have no children so I can be a little more relaxed about things. I think the last time I did it was probably like 2 days ago, that is a long time for me. I usually do it more often than that. A big bag of Pixie Stix really helps to bring out the child inside too.
Edit***
Need some ideas People? Here are some of my favorites:
Next time you go to a store or resteraunt or someplace, particularly where teens works, ask them if they take Hawaiin Money. This really becomes great when you get a ditsy blonde chick who has no clue that Hawaii is part of the US so the money is all the same.
I did that one time at Applebees and the girl said "I don't know, like let me go check" The funniest thing was her reaction, my sister and I could not take it and we were laughing so hard, and the hostess had no clue why we were laughing, which made it even funnier and we laughed harder. Finally one of the waitresses told her that Hawaii has the same money as us.
I like to go to the drive up window and ask them if I can get it "to go".
At a resturaunt, take the sugar packet, dump it out on the table and out it into a line, like cocaine, but then leave the empty packet there so they think that you were snorting the sugar.
One time we sat at the table flipping our spoons, you set the spoon on the table and hit the spoon part as hard as you can, it is fun. I don't think the mother in the booth next to her appreciated it very much though, 'cause her kid started watching us and then he went to his table and did it too.

I have fun everyday, not the way you said but in another ways, for example I am 55, and only work from Monday to Thursdays tutoring children with study problems in World History, in the mornings I take care of my Bonsai tree, I started a year ago, preparing a hobby for the next years when I am going to be too old to do what I like best to play tennis almost everyday, I still Train and participate in singles competitions, I also like going to the movies to see romantic comedies with my daughters, and I am always willing to learn something new. The thing I like most is to travel to big cities, but this is only once a year because is expensive. Good luck

I would have to say last Saturday. (this just happens to be a coincidence)
I went to a gf's house and we decide to have a couple of drinks, well a couple turned out to be a lot and we ended up going to bed at 7am. It was fantastic.
We talked like little girls about boys, played some games and just shared a lot of laughs... I hope to make this a once a month thing!

I laugh at myself on a daily basis, and always try to do something silly. That's just me. My co-workers don't really appreciate it, though.
I also have kids, and it's a lot easier to cut up with them, to dance around the living room like crazy people and fall on the floor giggling, to see the magic in Xmas lights no matter how random. It's very healthy.

over the last summer a friend from work and I went to the state fair and rode all the "Teen" rides and almost puked! It was so funny to watch their reactions as they tightened the bar on the Zipper for these 2 "OLD" ladies when the rest of the ride contained teeny boppers. We screamed and had tons of fun.

I was feeling a bit down last year and a friend of mine told me to got out into the snow and make snow angels..... so I did. It made me feel like a kid again and I was in a WAY better mood.
So now, if I'm feeling down, I do something "silly" and it tends to help lighten my mood.
