Teaching of tithing is in the law. But Malachi 3:8-10, talks about bringing all of the tithes to the storehouse.

Rightly dividing the word of truth might help. There are "time, and times, and a part" Jesus' time on earth was a part (he was cut out of the land of the living). That was during the time of the Jews. These are the times of the Gentiles. Believing in Jesus' resurrection is spiritual (faith is spiritual). Rightly dividing the word of truth means separating what is spiritual and not of this world from what is material and is of this world. The Jews had their time for doing what God commanded, but couldn't (except Jesus). Neither could anyone else. God proved that it could not be done, Believing in the gift of righteousness given through baptism into Christ's death and resurrection is spiritual. That righteousness is not of this world, nor is it material. This frees believers to give as they wish. If a believer wants to tithe, he is free to do so. If he does not wish to tithe, he is under no obligation to do so, and so is rightly dividing the word of truth. Tithing is of this material realm, not of the spiritual.

Malachi 3:8-11 “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, In what way have we robbed You? In tithes and offerings.
(9) You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.
(10) Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this, Says the LORD of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
(11) And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, Says the LORD of hosts;”

I belive you should tithes but i belive that if you don't have a bible of your own then you need to get one and remember that the body id the temple and it is writen Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. matt 4:4 KJV
my opionion is this that if you don't have a bible it is very important to get one so that you may know the word of GOD
and contiue to grow in him and have realationship with him.
this way you won't need the advice of men but you can see what God says about it but before you do anything Pray and ask GOD to lead you
GOD BLESS AND JESUS LOVES YOU ALL

I see there are lots of verses quoted here for you mostly from the old testament. In the New Tesament that is really not taught instead we have the teaching in 2 Corinthians 9:6 "Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Le 5:16 And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
