I was told not to drink alcolol while taking them. However today is my last day. Would it be safe to drink wine tonight?

Anti biotics and alcohol don't mix well together.Its best to wait for it to work out of your system possibly a day after.

No, it would not. You would not have been told not to drink alcohol if it were okay to do so. It's a good idea to leave off drinking for a couple days after completing the antibiotics as well. It won't kill you to go without imbibing for the weekend.

It is ok to drink a glass or two of wine or a beer while taking antibiotics. Just don't overdo it and you'll be fine.

I wouldn't suggest it. I would wait at least 2 days (or two bowel movements) to allow the saturation of antibiotics to completely leave my body.

you are suppose to wait 24 -48 hours to make sure it is all out of your system.
