Don't you think there should be a section in sports just for MMA
with the explosion of popularity and the amount of money it makes. It comes in second in sales only to NFL. Plus they have tons of fans like me, so don't you think it should have it's own forum?

YES! Definitely yes. With all the talk on here about friggin' ninjas. My god, what is with people's obsession with ninjas. Add on the questions about swords cutting through bowling balls and the endless Bruce Lee vs. whoever questions. Yes, we really need a forum devoted specifically to MMA. Great idea, man.

I'm good with MMA being in the Martial Arts section, since MMA is about all the different fighting styles. We can learn and help one another be more knowledgeable in all martial art categories. I just get tired of the "Who would win against Chuck Norris or Bruce Lee", "Who won UFC ?" over and over again. If people would look before the post question they could save their points.

I think it fits into the martial arts section just fine. It is after all, mixed "martial arts". People just need to view the question board a few times before they ask a question so that we don't have 500 of the same questions like "who will win UFC 65" and "Who won UFC 65". With an VERY minimal amount of effort, one can usually find the answers they are looking for. That way we can keep the board free for new questions.

I have no idea what your speakme approximately. I suppose even informal MMA lovers understand who Fedor is. The crisis with Fedor is that he hasnt fought a major in opposition to a heavyweight due to the fact that 2005. His final battle in opposition to a truly fighter (Middleweight Matt Lindland) used to be now not an outstanding efficiency. Lindland reduce Fedor badly, and picked him as much as slam him two times, however Fedor cheated through grabbing directly to the highest rope to restrict being slammed. Lindland used to be performing some flooring and pound and Fedor stuck him in his signature armbar, however through all account, Fedor used to be wasting badly as much as that factor. Fedor has additionally on no account fought in a cage, which makes a colossal change related to angles and pursuit. I suppose Tim Sylvia can be his first truly scan in opposition to a professional heavyweight due to the fact that 2005. James

I agree. With the UFC and Pride Fighting Championship exploding, you would think this would be a natural. Just for the record my favorite MMA fighter is Matt Hughes. He will regain his championship in the rematch with St. Pierre.
