I am imaginings this obese weirdo in a Nazi uniform holding a gun to the head of some poor chicken and saying "OK this is it, Eat the bird flesh or your little friend Road Island Red gets it".

I would say kill all the chickens you want. As far as I am concerned, being a vegetarian is more about my health then the health of the chicken.

isn't that more of a philosophy question? i am a meat eater anyway but ones already dead so you may as well eat it to save the life of another.
