people think He was bored and decided "oh well...let me get this going" and poof here we are. This and many other things are mysteries of G, we just have to wait to the day He calls us home and we can ask everything we want. But hey there's one answer for you..He saw that the man was alone and he created a companion for him....so you see He is always thinking of us...
G bless ^i^

This is a terrific question. It's fascinating to me how the same people who can't wrap their minds around the possibility of an eternal and/or causeless universe (and use that as one of their primary arguments for the existence of God), will at the same time have no problem believing in an eternal, causeless God. If a causeless universe is so hard to believe, how is a causeless creator any more believable? Just one of the many intellectual contortions one must perform in order to be a believer.

Each "god" was created by a human social grouping to express the kind of values that would enhance the survival strategies of that group.
And so -- let loose the dogs of war!

The Bible is not clear on this. Genesis tells the story of creation but if you're asking how long it took Him to start that process than I'm not sure who would know. All that is revealed to us is written in the Bible.

Master whiz is my hero.
I think there was nothing good on the TV so he had to do something else. Why not create the universe?

God created us so he could burn us in hell. Then he changed his mind and came to earth as the baby Jesus so he could save us from himself.

it is not a matter of where God came from because He is eternal and has always been present, and we cannot know according to our sense of time when God decided to create us.
