My boyfriend and I had decided weeks ago for today as a shopping date at the mall. He won't hear of me going by myself. He thinks I deserve a day to spend with him as well as do what I love best- shopping! However, I know it is one of his least favorite activities, like many other men out there. He gets so bored and hovers around the entrance of the store waiting for me to get done with looking at all the clothes. He nods approval half-heartedly when I ask him how something looks on me... I know he's not having a good time, but he wants to make that sacrifice for me because he knows I want him there. Is there anything I can do to make it a more enjoyable trip for him? I feel like I should feel guilty, nothing else... Suggestions, please?

mix in some things that he would like to do. get a few drinks. have some lunch. just break up the shopping experience, so its not shop all the time. then get naked for him and show off all of your new clothes when you get home!

That's a tough one! Even if my girl was ok with me not hanging around her all the time while we(she) were shopping, going to the "manly" area's of the mall would only take up a small portion of the time women(she) likes to spend shopping. I guess one suggestion would be to let him sit in front of a TV (in the mall) while a game was playing. Then meet up with him when you were done. I (men) just don't like to shop. We know what we want and we get it and are out of there in no time.

Have him find a few places at the mall where he can hang out - like sporting goods stores, maybe have lunch at Hooter's etc

You need to have sex in a dressing room. Believe me, he'll love going shopping with you after that.

sports bars in malls would take care of this problem, it is really a win - win proposal
